Disneyland in one day

©Smith Family This week we have a Guest review from the Smith Family who did ‘Disneyland in one day’. The Smith family are a family of 4 (Mum, Dad, girl ‘C.S’ 11 years old and a boy ‘O.S’ 6 years old) from Australia who have been to Disneyland Paris, Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea and Anaheim Disneyland before. The Smith family travelled during October 2017 to Disneyland Anaheim in the lead up to Halloween. Due to time restraints in their travel plans, they only had one day to see Disneyland. Having been to so many parks before, including Anaheim, they knew a few tricks to make the most out of their day. Below is a recount on how they maximised their one day in Disneyland. They also detail how their kids cope with Jet lag travelling from Australia, what strategies they used to get on as many rides as they could in one day, where they stayed and where they ate. How long did you have in Disneyland? We caught the first shuttle from our hot

Singapore Zoo

This friendly Toucan was in an open area aviary D ear Readers, this week I thought I would talk about Singapore Zoo. This was on my bucket li st zoo to visit since I was a kid.   We caught a Taxi to and from the zoo from central Singapore. It cost us Singapore $20 both ways. At the end of the day, the lines for taxi’s w ere quite large, but we probably waited about 20 minutes for a taxi. The line was managed by zoo staff and was extremely well organised for the large cr owds . We got a 2 park hopper ticket for the Zoo and Jurong Bird Park which was about half the price of a normal ticket for both parks. The Park Hopper ticket allowed you to have 7 days to use the tickets from the first day nominated . Alternatively you can purchase tickets onlin e via  Klook. The disadvanta ge with this is you have to no minate specific dates . We got the tram included in the Park Hopper ticket, which I would recommend as there is alot of walking in the humidity/heat otherwise
